- NEW FOR 2020: For the first time, TVMC will be offering a Thursday morning pre-conference boot camp for an additional training workshop that can be added to your conference registration. Essential Strategies of Volunteer Engagement is a 2 1/2 hour
sinteractive workshop that explores key components of a quality volunteer program. You will evaluate your organization's framework for successful volunteer engagement, identify current strengths and opportunities via a bench-marking assessment tool, then prioritize and set next steps to increase volunteer recruitment, retention and impact. A $125 value, this workshop is available to TVMC 2020 attendees for only $35.00 and will include lunch on Thursday prior to the Conference kick off.
- Full conference registration includes activities for both Thursday and Friday.
- On Thursday, attendees participate in sessions and an evening Networking Event. Pre-Conference Boot Camp is not included but can be added for $35.00.
- The conference format on Friday includes an opening plenary session, luncheon and breakout sessions. You can choose workshops from each breakout session based upon your individual needs for professional development.
Who Should Attend? Professional volunteer administrators who work for nonprofit organizations or publicly funded agencies such as the Texas Department of Health and Human Services, municipalities, parks and recreation centers, museums and schools throughout Texas and the U.S. The conference also welcomes anyone in the private sector responsible for working with volunteers including program managers, executive directors, development and communications team members as well as staff in community relations and corporate social responsibility.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Refund of conference registration fee, less a $25 administrative fee, will be made if notice of cancellation is received no later than April 14. Cancellation requests received after April 14 are not subject to refunds. Individuals who register and do not show up on site ("no shows") are also not subject to refunds. Substitutions will be permitted with proper documentation. Cancellation requests must be made in writing to email@example.com. Refunds will be processed after the conference.
Scholarships are available to members of DADV or Tarrant County DOVIA from their respective associations. For scholarship guidelines and additional information, please contact each individual organization.
The Texas Volunteer Management Conference will be held on May 14 & 15, 2020 at The Gateway Center at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
