The Planning Committee is soliciting Requests for Proposals from potential speakers who will present voluntarily on Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16, 2026. The 2026 Texas Volunteer Management Conference will be held at The Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center at The University of Texas at Dallas.

RFP’s will be accepted for in person and virtual sessions.

PRESENTATION STYLE

Option 1: In person Presentation: 60 minutes
 
Option 2: Virtual Presentation: 60 minutes (sessions must be live and will be recorded. In person attendees will have access to recordings after the conference is over.)
 

The committee is seeking a diverse range of speakers who can address topics relevant to the field of volunteer management.

GUIDELINES AND SELECTION CRITERIA

Conference Theme: Bridges Beyond Boundaries

This year’s conference focuses on breaking the silos between sectors, communities and capabilities. We want to bridge our professionals to become catalysts of meaning change with expanding their ability to receive innovative tools. 

Engagement: Priority will be given to proposals that reflect the following criteria  

  • Session can be presented in 60 minutes 
  • Relevant topic areas, particularly solution-oriented and resource-directed  
  • Clarity of content and practical usefulness for those who work with volunteers  
  • Participant engagement and interaction, such as skill building, interactive discussions, take-away materials, and providing resource
  • Case studies on collective impact
  • Application in diverse settings
